In the midst of Bible study class a couple of years back, a colleague who was a well-read believer and served well in the service for many long years, pronounced this assertion, “Undoubtedly, on the other hand, Abraham maintained the 10 commandments and so he fully understood as regards to……” (she certainly muddled with the earlier laws). I question how many Believers could to tell the truth understand the flaw in this assertion. Moses in truth arrived five hundred or so years following Abraham, as a result it is unrealistic. I have since published a Chronolgical illustration of the Bible and mentioned a visual of the historical perspective of humans & main events.
How thoroughly would we appreciate and preach Holy Scripture in balance without being aware of something which is so elemental in God’s Word? And then also, how fully could the believers know these matters and interpret the Bible, if they are not informed?
